Marcus Rashford stole the show at Old Trafford as the teenager scored twice on his debut to send Manchester United into the last 16 of the Europa League.
The night began badly for United, who lost Anthony Martial to a warm-up injury and then went behind to Midtjylland thanks to Pione Sisto's effort.
But after a Nikolay Bodurov own goal and a missed penalty from Juan Mata, Rashford- only on the pitch due to Martial's injury - brought the tie level to 3-3 on aggregate.
The 18-year-old then completed his dream debut by scoring the winning goal before Ander Herrera and Memphis Depay both added a gloss.
Midtjylland's miserable night was completed when André Rømer was sent off late on following a second yellow.
