The Labour Party (LP) has said that Boko Haram members never kidnapped the 300 Chibok schoolgirls and that the APC concocted the story just to dent  the image of former president Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. The party in a statement released Tuesday which was signed by its national chairman,  Abdulkadir Abdulsalami, the party said the recent release of 82 Chibok school girls is a fluke and that APC should expect the wrath of God for manipulating parents of the Chibok girls. According to the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, these men (kidnappers) stormed the popular Lounge 24 Night Club and kidnapped the manager, Chidi Ojukwu aka Odaa Opuo. Former Barcelona President, Sandro Rosell, has been arrested as part of a money-laundering investigation. A Nigerian national was arrested at a suburban railway station in Mumbai, India for possessing cocaine weighing 1.3kg and worth Rs9 crore. Customs officers have discovered yet another container filled with arms at the Tin Can Island Port in Lagos today May 23rd. According to reports, 440 pump action rifles were found in the container that was imported from Turkey. One suspect has been arrested while investigations is still ongoing. Tragedy struck Saturday night in Benin City, Edo state when generator fume killed three people, two women and a man. It was gathered that the unnamed occupants of the apartment located at Agherase Adu street died after inhaling smoke from the generator set reportedly kept in the kitchen.                A 23-year-old law student in Kerala, India, ended an 8-year cycle of rape by chopping off the penis of her rapist who is a self-styled godman. This is believed to have happened in Brazil. The man was attacked by an American pit bull terrier as he tried to burgle a home. According to reports, the thief waited for the residents to leave for work before he broke in, unaware that there was a pit bull guarding the property. Half his face was ripped off as can be seen in the video while he can be seen gasping for breath, lying on a hospital bed. Doctors can be heard laughing at him in the background. 8-year-old Ifeyinwa pictured above is being treated at the Federal Medical Center Owerri in Imo state after suffering severe burns from an injection she received from a nurse. According to reports, Ifeyinwa had fallen ill some weeks ago and her aunt took her to see a nurse that had a chemist around their home. The nurse said she showed symptoms of malaria and gave her an "anti-malaria injection". A man resident in Port Harcourt, Rivers state killed his son yesterday,  Saturday , in Port Harcourt. The man, identified simply as Inimgba allegedly hit 7yr old George Tamunoibuemie with a hard object, leading to his demise. A 32yr old German woman identified as Gabriele P has been jailed for 12-and-a-half years for manslaughter after she tied her lover to a bed and then killed him with a circular saw.
