3 suicide bombers last night attacked the University of Maiduguri campus, killing a female security officer as well as themselves. Three other persons were injured in the attack. Michael Adebolajo, a Nigerian Islamic extremist who murdered British soldier  Fusilier Lee Rigley in London, is now regarded as the most dangerous prisoner in the British penal system, officials say. The Senate president, Bukola Saraki, says he would win at the Appeal Court where the Federal government has filed a petition challenging his acquittal and discharge by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).  The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arraigned 25 year old Nigeria customs service officer, Ugwoke Emmanuel, before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos for allegedly trafficking drugs. A father is believed to have murdered his young son and daughter then hanged himself on Father's Day during a bitter custody battle with his estranged wife.
