Final Premier League table predicted - Who will win the title? And who is going down?
If the rest of the Premier League season was played out based on current statistics, Arsenal would be crowned champions.
According to data analysed by Euro Club Index (ECI), the Gunners would pip favourites Manchester City to the title by a single point, finishing on the relatively low total of 77.
Manchester United would be seven points adrift in third place, likely down to their record of keeping clean sheets.
But
Liverpool are set to miss out on the final Champions League spot, with
surprise table-toppers Leicester City taking their place among Europe's
elite.
If the current stats are to be believed, Liverpool will finish in sixth, one spot behind Tottenham.

Chelsea would experience a mini-revival of sorts and climb back into the top half of the Premier League.
A
ninth-place finish looks unlikely right now, but with stars such as
Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas on their books, they should
salvage at least something from their season
However, they won't
do enough to finish above Everton and Crystal Palace, who on current
form are set to seal eighth and ninth-placed finishes respectively.
At
the other end of the table, unsurprisingly, Aston Villa are expected to
finish rock bottom, seven points off 19th-placed Sunderland.

Norwich will finish level on points with Newcastle, but the
Magpies will avoid the drop by virtue of their superior goal difference.
The
Euro Club Index website states: "ECI-values are calculated, based on
all relevant match results from several recent seasons, using scientific
statistical methods.
"The impact of more recent matches on the ECI-value is higher than that of older matches.
"The ECI is constructed in such a way, that its predictive force is maximized."
