Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, were today arraigned before an Abuja High Court over their alleged complicity in forgery of the Senate Standing Rules. The two lawmakers who took turns and pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge preferred against them by the federal government, were granted bail and met the conditions set before leaving the court premises. Saraki has now released a statement regarding the case.
