14 dead in suicide attack outside Pakistan polio vaccination center QUETTA, Pakistan – A suicide attack on a polio vaccination center in southwestern Pakistan on Wednesday killed 14 people, officials said. The bombing of the polio center on the outskirts of Quetta city killed 12 police, a soldier and a civilian, said Syed Imtiaz Shah, the local police chief. Another 23 people were wounded, he said. 2 US Navy boats, crew held by Iran but will be returned - Pentagon Iran is holding 10 U.S. Navy sailors (9 men, 1 woman) and their two small boats that drifted into Iranian waters with mechanical problems. Iran accused the sailors of trespassing but American officials said Tehran has assured them that the crew and vessels would be returned safely and promptly.
