Hollywood actor, Michael Mantenuto died on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 35. Announcing his death,  U.S. Army Col. Guillaume Beaurpere wrote in a Facebook post  on Wednesday  that Mantenuto sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  "Those of you that knew Mike will remember him for his passionate love for his family and his commitment to the health of the force," he wrote.                                                                           Follow @cool_jist

An apartment in Brooklyn that was onetime the home of former President Barack Obama is on the market for $4.3 million. The ad for the 5-bedroom home on the real estate website Zillow reads,  "Rush to this noteworthy home forever stamped with a historical footprint. The unique distinction of being the residence of President Obama after he graduated Columbia University." Obama lived on a floor of the townhouse with his girlfriend in the 1980s. Yesterday was a bad day for LG Nigeria and their neighbors, Bedmate furniture as the building caught fire. The showroom located at New Road, Cheveron Drive caught fire at about  3pm  and didn't stop till  10pm .  According to the LG staff, the fire escalated due to slow response of the Chevron Drive fire fighters team. Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, yesterday April 27th, disclosed that the introduction of the whistle-blower policy by the federal government has led to the recovery of about N17billion by the Commission. For Isaac Vatkin, 91, and his wife, Teresa Vatkin, 89, even death would not do them part, as Isaac followed minutes after his wife gave up the ghost last weekend.
