Supreme Court declares Ahmed Markafi the authentic national chairman of PDP

The Supreme Court has declared Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Makarfi had approached the apex court to affirm him as the chairman of the party after the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt Rivers state had in February this year, ruled that former Borno state governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, was the authentic national chairman of PDP.                                                                                                                                                                           Read more >> Follow @cool_jist

Ghanaian Actor Majid Michel invited to preach to the Army at the United Nations Misson in Congo

Award winning Ghanaian actor-turned pastor, Majid Michel, has seen his new faith earned him the privilege of sharing the word of God to the military men in Congo. Carl Ikeme retains Wolves FC No 1 jersey for the 2017-18 season as he battles acute leukaemia

Super Eagles of Nigeria goalkeeper and Wolverhampton Wanderers star, Carl Ikeme, has been listed as the first choice of the 2017-18 season and will retain his No.1 jersey as he battles acute leukemia. Multiple suicide bomb attacks kills 11 in Maiduguri

No fewer than 11 persons have been killed in multiple suicide explosions that rocked Maiduguri, the Borno state capital late last night. Ex OAU VC remanded in prison custody over alleged N1.4 billion fraud

Justice David Oladimeji of the Federal High Court in Ede, Osun State has ordered the former Vice Chancellor of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Anthony Elujoba, be remanded in Ilesha Prisons after his bail application was dismissed Tuesday morning. Oladimeji is currently standing trial on a seven count charge for allegedly defrauding the institution of N1.4 billion while he was in office. Nigerian undergraduate dies after attempt to abort her pregnancy

A 21-year-old student of the Federal College of Education in Plateau, Nenfort Ezekiel, was found dead in her room on Monday by curious neighbours trying to find out if she was okay, after she wasn't spotted out for classes as usual.
