Four people were killed in a fire which broke out at an Oakland apartment building in 2551 San Pablo Ave, Oakland on Monday, March 27th. Four others were taken to the hospital for treatment, including two children. One of the victims has been identified as a 36-year-old Nigerian man, who stayed in Room 223. Bolarinde Damilola who won the Face of Amber pageant two years ago, has called out the organizers of the beauty competition for never fulfilling their promise to her. In  a post she shared on IG, Bolarinde who is set to hand over to another queen today, alleged that she was promised a trip to California, a car, modeling contracts and more but she never got them. Last week, Facebook user, Ikenna Adol Madu, shared a post and photos on his page, which claimed that a male and a female corps member were attacked by some locals who accused them of committing fornication in their compound in Sabuwa Unguwa, Kofar Kaura in Katsina Local Government Area of the state. Madu in his post, alleged that the indigenes of the community, attacked the corp members for living in the same accommodation without being married. Rapper, Bobby Shmurda, who is already serving 7 years for his murder conspiracy conviction, appeared in court with his attorney, Paul London Friday April 7, 2017 and pled guilty to the crime of attempting to promote prison contraband. The good news for the rapper is that the new 4 years sentence will run concurrently with his 7 year sentence. Bobby has been in jail since December 2014. Follow @cool_jist

US President, Donald Trump, in a tweet, congratulated men and women of the United States military over the recent attack on Syria.
