The Senate president, Bukola Saraki, says he would win at the Appeal Court where the Federal government has filed a petition challenging his acquittal and discharge by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT). The Queen of England reported to Police for not wearing a seatbelt

The Queen of England was  on Wednesday  reported to West Yorkshire Police for not wearing a seatbelt as she travelled to the State Opening of Parliament. According to the Authorities, they received a 999 call from someone saying the Queen was not wearing a seat belt as she travelled with Prince Charles through London from Buckingham Palace to Westminster.                                                                                                                                           Follow @cool_jist

Flood destroys 300 houses in Ibadan - NEMA

NDLEA arraigns Customs Officer for trafficking marijuana

 The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arraigned 25 year old Nigeria customs service officer, Ugwoke Emmanuel, before a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos for allegedly trafficking drugs. According to the prosecuting counsel, the suspect who is a native of Bale-Oko in Badagry Local Government Area, Lagos State and works at the Seme Border post of Customs, allegedly transported cannabis using an official Customs Toyota Hilux at the Gbaji Customs checkpoint along Seme-Badagry Road on May 14th.                                                                                                                 Read more >> Follow @cool_jist

Father kills his six-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son on Father's Day before hanging himself

A father is believed to have murdered his young son and daughter then hanged himself on Father's Day during a bitter custody battle with his estranged wife.
