'This is for Paris': Russian pilots write messages of support for terror victims on their bombs before launching latest air raids and cruise missile strikes against ISIS Pilots and ground crew wrote 'For Paris' on bombs destined for Syria. Moscow fired 18 missiles from its ships in the Caspian Sea at seven targets in Syria, including in Raqa, Idlib and Aleppo provinces. President Putin was told a strike at one target killed 'more than 600 fighters', however, it was not specified when the strike took place. Moscow stepped up its strikes in Syria with long-distance bombers after confirming for the first time on Tuesday that a bomb downed a Russian airliner in Egypt last month, killing all 224 people on board.

Balaclava-clad French commando leader describes 'Hell on earth' inside the Bataclan and reveals elite unit had to ignore pleas of dying victims as they hunted the terrorists The commando leader who led the police assault on the Bataclan concert hall (inset bottom right, the aftermath of the massacre) following Friday's massacre in Paris has described the 'Hell on earth' his team found as they stormed the building. Jeremy (left, wearing a balaclava, stands next to the shield used by his elite unit during the raid), the captain of the commando team, spoke to NBC News on the condition that his last name was not used. Jeremy said his team had to ignore the desperate pleas of dying victims of the sickening mass murder as they hunted down the jihadis. Update on Mali hotel siege: 3 killed, 80 hostages freed + pics from the scene of the incident 3 people including two Malians are said to have been killed in the hostage taking at Radisson Blu in Bamako, Mali this morning. Armed men stormed the hotel taking 170 people hostage. 80 of the hostages have so far been freed. Dangote not at the Mali Radisson Blu hotel attacked by gunmen There were rumours that Al Jazeera reported that Aliko Dangote was at the Radisson Blu hotel in Mali when it was attacked by gunmen. Dangote just took to his twitter handle to refute the claims that he is among the 170 hostages. He was in Mali yesterday but has since returned to Nigeria.. Read more »

BREAKING NEWS: Jihadist gunmen screaming 'Allahu Akbar' launch grenade and shooting rampage in hotel in Mali and take 170 hostages before freeing a handful who could recite the Koran  Armed jihadists have gone on a deadly shooting rampage and taken 170 hostages at the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako, Mali. Heavy automatic weapons fire has been heard on the seventh floor of the 190-room hotel (pictured bottom left), where it is thought three militants have taken 140 guests and 30 members of staff hostage. Witnesses described hearing at least one explosion coming from the hotel, which is frequently used by Air France crew. The US embassy in Bamako has urged embassy staff to seek cover from the attack, tweeting that all Americans in Mali should 'shelter in place'.   Read More>>

We can no longer pay N18,000 minimum wage – GOVs   THE 36 state governors have said that they can no longer pay the N18,000 minimum wage that was signed into law in March 2011 by former President Goodluck Jonathan, owing to the poor state of the economy. Fugitive jihadist Salah Abdesalam may be using disguise to evade authorities French Police are circulating this image which they believe is the only surviving Paris terror attack suspect, Salah Abdesalam. Spanish media say detectives think Salah Abdesalam, 26, is disguising himself in a wig and glasses as he evades capture. Police believe he was in the same flat in which master mind Abaaoud was killed but managed to evade capture. He was the one who hired the black VW Polo used by the terrorists on Friday. It's being claimed that he's also fleeing ISIS commanders who are angry that he backed out of suicide attack. He didn' t fulfill his role as the 8th suicide bomber. Read more »
