Three persons were killed and five injured when unknown gunmen attacked six communities, Bambami, Tsanni, Dabai Bayawa, Makatanawa, Dan Iya and Alale, all in Batagarawa Local Government Area of Katsina State. The member representing Batagarawa constituency in the state House of Assembly, Yakubu  Tsanni who tabled the issue on the floor of the Assembly  under matter of urgent attention, called on concerted authorities to come to the aid of the area.                                                                                                     Read more >> Follow @cool_jist

Two South African communities,   Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province and  Klaafontein community, Extension 5 in Johannesburg, have reportedly given the Nigerians residing there quit notice.  According to the President of the Nigerian union in South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, the Klaafontein community, have directed landlords in the area not to renew the rent of Nigerians residing in their properties while the Kuruman community in Northern Cape Province have given Nigerians till  tomorrow June 16th  to leave their community.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Read more >> Follow @cool_jist

Several people are still missing or feared dead after the deadly blaze ripped through the Grenfell Tower block in London. Family and friends of the missing have since taken to social media to appeal for help in finding their loved ones.
