O peratives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 39-year-old man, Victor Akagha, a native of Owerri in Imo state, for sleeping with 4 secondary school boys he lured into gay relationship. According to a statement released by RRS, Victor who lives in Lagos, was ambushed at the victim’s school, where he came to pick him with his car. The Bauchi State Police Command  on Wednesday  paraded suspected armed robbers arrested in various part of the state. Briefing newsmen at the Command Headquarters, the Commissioner of Police, Garba Baba Umar said that on May 10th, police detectives attached to Tafawa Balewa Housing Estate in collaboration with neighborhood watch at Madina quarters arrested members of an armed robbery gang. 74-year-old Puerto Rican nationalist, Oscar Lopez Rivera has been released from house arrest after 36 years in custody, in a case that transformed him into a martyr. Lopez was considered a top leader of Puerto Rican militant group that said it was responsible for more than 100 bombings in several U.S. cities and Puerto Rico during the 1970s and early 1980s. The attacks killed six people and wounded scores.
