Naughty By Nature, one of the hottest rap groups in the 90's, have launched a KickStarter Campaign to fund their 25th anniversary album...They are hoping to raise $100k to put out their 25th anniversary album and are going directly to the fans. Photos: Police officer who battered his wife to death for refusing sex jailed for life PC Adrian Goldsmith was jailed for life on February 1 at Stafford Crown Court after he was found guilty of killing his wife. Goldsmith, 50, beat wife Jill, 49, with a mallet, paint pot and heavy battery then stabbed himself to make it look like self-defence. He tried to trick colleagues and a jury into thinking she had attacked him first at their home close to Northants Police headquarters. Read more »

Photos: 22-month old girl undergoes successful skull defect surgery in Canada The 22 month-old girl, Fidelis Muthoni from Makuyu in Murang’a county, Kenya who was suffering from frontal encephalocele underwent a free operation in Toronto, Canada to remove a bone growth on her face. The Canadian doctors volunteered to operate on her for free when her father Kenneth Kinuthia met them in Kiambu county during a medical camp. Muthoni’s plight was highlighted when the family accused her uncle, Hope Foundation founder Joseph Wanjau, of misappropriating the ticket money. Read more »

Over 1,000 giant ants removed from  year old Indian girl's  her ears. This 12-year-old girl above has had more than 1,000 giant ants removed from her ears within the last 5 months, after doctors find them nesting in her drum canal. Shreya Darji, from Deesa, in Gujarat, western India, has around ten live ants crawl out of her ears daily, her parents say. Shreya's problem first started as an irritation in her ear in August last year, and when she visited her local hospital, doctors found the ants inside her ear canal. Read more »

Man shot by cop paid $23.1m in damages A federal jury awarded $23.1 million on Wednesday to a 22-year-old black man who was unarmed when he was shot and paralyzed by a sheriff's deputy, but Florida lawmakers will have to approve any award above $200,000. The six-woman, two-man jury ruled after 3 and half  hours of deliberation that Palm Beach County Sheriff's Sgt. Adams Lin violated Dontrell Stephens' civil rights when he shot him in September 2013. Photos:Rescue operation of Bristow helicopter crash A Bristow Helicopter from Port Harcourt en-route Lagos with 9 Passengers and two crew members, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean yesterday February 3rd. Officials of the National Emergency Management Authority NEMA carried out rescue operation at the scene of the incident. All 11 persons on board were rescued alive.  See more photos »

APC National chairman bemoans loss of oil rich states to PDP APC National Chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, has bemoaned his party's loss of important oil-rich states to the opposition party, PDP. Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa and Cross Rivers states, are all being governed by PDP-elected governors. 7 month old baby killed alongside his parents by gangs in Mexico (Graphic pics) 7 month old Marcos Miguel Pano Colón (left) was shot dead by gang members alongside his parents last week. Horrific photos showing the bodies of the baby boy and his parents slaughtered in Oaxaca, Mexico, were released this week and it has sparked fierce debate about the country's rampant gang violence and society's acceptance of it. The boy was being carried by his 24-year-old father, Juan Alberto Pano Ramos, and accompanied by his 17-year-old mother, Alba Isabel Colón, when their attackers opened fire on them in the city of Pinotepa Nacional on Friday evening. Angels exist? 18-month old rescued from crashed car that killed her mother after 4 police officers heard mysterious voice calling for help This baby was saved from drowning by a mysterious voice. Four police officers said they heard a mysterious adult voice calling for help from a scene of a car crash in northern Utah. When they rushed there to help, they only found 18-month-old Lily alive. Her 25-year-old mother had died in the crash. The police said they could have sworn they heard an adult female voice calling to them for help...but only met Lily trapped in the car but alive in the icy river.
