Female Senator Uche Ekwunife sacked by Appeal Court, Judge Orders Fresh Election A court of Appeal sitting in Enugu has sacked PDP's Senator Uche Ekwunife from the Senate, in response to an appeal filed by Victor Umeh of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). A lead judgement read by Justice Datijo Yahaya stated that the election that brought in Mrs Ekwunife on the 28 March, 2015, did not meet the prescription of the electoral act. The judge therefore declared her election null and void, and ordered that fresh election be held in the Anambra Central Senatorial District within 90 days.

Morgan Freeman unhurt after plane tire blows, forcing emergency landing Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman was aboard a plane that had to make an emergency landing in Mississippi after blowing a tire, but nobody including the actor was hurt in the incident. The SJ30 jet took off from Clarksdale and made a “controlled forced landing” in Tunica. Weird photos! Tiny birds feed from Buffalo's nostrils Dutch amateur photographer, Nick Van Amstel captured the moment Oxpeckers fed from the nose, ears and skin of a Buffalo who didn't seem to mind. Amstel was on safari in Tanzania when he took the pictures. Oxpeckers feed mostly on the parasites found on large mammals like buffaloes, giraffes and zebra.
