44-year-old Patricia Flores, a Texas grandmother, has pleaded guilty to the murder of her 2-year-old grandson, Lyfe Flores which occurred last year. Lyfe was severely burned in a bathtub but was not taken to the hospital for nearly a week. A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the EFCC, to unfreeze the account of former first lady Patience Goodluck Jonathan. The account contains $5.9 million. EFCC had called for an investigation into the accounts following claims that they were being used for money laundering and that the money found in them were proceeds of crime. 3,800 new cases of HIV infections have been recorded in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in the state between January to March 2017. Malam Barkindo Saidu, the Executive Secretary, Borno Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (BOSACA) who disclosed this in Maiduguri  on Wednesday , said that the new cases were recorded after voluntary screening in 15 IDPs camps in the state.                                                                                                                                                 Read more » Follow @cool_jist
