Revoke your anti-preaching bill or die- Pastor Suleiman tells El Rufai Few days after Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufai, forwarded a bill to the state House of Assembly, stating that religious leaders in the state will have to obtain a one year license to preach in the state, an Edo state based pastor and the Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleiman, called on the governor to revoke the bill now or die. According to Suleiman, El Rufai has no right to regulate the activities of religious leaders when he has not regulated the activities of traditionalist in the state. He said before he, El Rufai, became governor, they were men of God and that they will still remain men of God when he leaves office. Read more »

Did the referee headbutt this footballer? (video) In a German lower League match between TSG and FC Oberlausitz, TSG begged the officials for a penalty when one of their players seemed to be fouled in the box, as they were trailing 1-0 at home. After discussions with his linesmen, referee Norbert Giese refused to award the spot-kick, and when pressured by the players, the referee pressed heads with TSG’s Fabio Viteritti, and he fell down. Please can this be called Military training? Nigerian Airforce officials maltreat female recruit (photos/video) Saw this video on Facebook, and found it hard to believe. A female recruit/student at the Nigerian Defense Academy was told to put her head on top of a wood while raising up her body in a 90 degrees angle after being rolled in mud. She was flogged by senior male recruits before she was put through this excruciating punishment all in the name of N.D.A training.  Please watch the video and see more photos  here  »

Former Chelsea star,Didier Drogba shares a message of condolence with victims of terror attack in Ivory coast as gruesome images emerges Didier Drogba has shared a condolence message with victims of the terror attack in Ivory Coast. Al-Qaeda gunmen  on Sunday  stormed the Grand-Bassam beach resort and opened fire on funseekers leaving at least 16 people dead and injuring several others.  The Ivorian professional footballer  posted a photo on his social media pages writing: "Condolences to all the victims of these last terror attacks in Bassam and Ankara. Ocholi's driver: FRSC insist fake driver's licence is no licence Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has insisted that late James Ocholi’s driver, Taiwo James Elegbede had no driver’s license record with the commission. Kazeem stated this Abuja on Sunday, March 13 in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria. According to him, the news making round in the social media that Elegbede, driver of the ill-fated vehicle that claimed the lives of Ocholi and his family members has a driver’s license is not true. Adam Johnson holds all night party ten days before he goes to jail for child sex crimes Disgraced footballer Adam Johnson, held an all night party at his £2million County Durham home on Saturday night just ten days before a court judge will sentence him to jail for sexual crimes against a child. The 28 year old footballer has since been sacked by Sunderland for the offence. A day after the party, a girl and a guy who had same clothes they wore the previous day, were seen leaving Johnson's house carrying ginger beer.  See More photos  »

Malawi president comes for T.B Joshua, calls him a liar and a fake Yesterday, the president of Malawi Peter Mutharika slammed T.B Joshua over a prophecy he made recently. Sometime in January, T.B Joshua said a president in Southern African will die before April 1st.. "End of February to April this year, peculiar months for Southern Africa." Joshua said Reacting, Mutharika, who became president in 2014 said “I’m told there is a man in Nigeria called Joshua and he is saying that Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe and Peter Mutharika will die before April 1. Lai Mohammed denies saying FG has lost control of the Nigerian economy Over the weekend, there were reports that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said that the Federal Government had lost control of the Nigerian economy. The reports alleged that he said this while fielding questions from a radio station in Abuja. However, Lai Mohammed who was a guest on Channels TV this morning, said the report is totally false. "It is completely false. I saw the report and I spoke with the editor online of Thisday and he told me this was the story that was filed by his correspondent. That story was supposed to have emanated from a live interview I had with Radio Lagos FRCN and nothing like that happened. Read more »
