Lebanese lawmakers  on Wednesday  took the first step to overturn a law that allows rapists to avoid punishment if they marry their victims. Article 522 of the penal code states that if a man rapes an unmarried woman, he can avoid prosecution for the crime if he marries the victim. Fire gutted the only ultra modern shopping mall in Benin, Edo State last night. Managing Director of the Super Mart Mr Philip Edigin said that the fire started at about 12 mid night. He disclosed that all effort to get the State fire service to come to their rescue proved abortive as the fire service told him they have no diesel to work. Pakistani International Airline flight PK-661 has been found where it crashed in Havelian, Pakistan not long after a distress call was made to the control tower. The body of a middle aged woman was found decapitated in the early hours of today at the cornerstone area of abakpa Nike Enugu. A luxurious bus belonging to the Young Shall Grow Transport Company headed to Yobe State from Onitsha, was burnt beyond recognition at the Akuzu end of the Awka-Onitsha expressway on Monday, December 5th. Fortunately, no life was lost, as the passengers escaped through the windows. Apo Six: Where is Danjuma Ibrahim? Officer Danjuma Ibrahim was the most senior officer involved in the notorious Apo Six case. He was roundly indicted by testimony from five of the co-accused and eight other police witnesses who accused him of ordering the killings. The co-accused are Othman Abdulsalami , Nicholas Zakaria, Ezekiel Acheneje, Baba Emmanuel and Sadiq Salami.  They are charged with the killing of Ifeanyi Ozor, Chinedu Meniru, Isaac Ekene, Paulinus Ogbonna, Anthony Nwodike and Augustina Arebun.
