The sad incident happened in Gboko community in Benue state. According to Apiah Ephraim who shared the sad story online, a woman abandoned a baby inside a gutter along Gyado Junction - Yandev express way in Gboko on Monday May 15th. Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, has threatened to leave PDP if the Supreme court rules in favor of factional leader of the party, Ali Modu Sheriff, on May 25th. A 35 year old Muslim cleric, Sheik Yusuf Amzat-Salam, his wife and four children have been stabbed to death by unknown assailants at their home at the Atiba area of Odogbolu Local Government Area in Ogun state today May 16th. According to the state police command, Sheik Amzat-Salam, his wife, their 11 year old daughter, eight year old set of twin boys and their last child, a 2 year old daughter, were found in the pool of their blood with serious stab wounds.                                                                                                                                                       ...

A Japanese princess, Princess Mako, the granddaughter of Japan's emperor, will give up her royal status when she marries a beach tourism worker, Kei Komuro whom she met in a restaurant. Operatives of the X-squad unit of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two fake Naval officers and their accomplice, a tailor who makes their fake uniform. Nigeria is a land of opportunity. And I do not mean this the way Nigerian politicians usually mean it, as a cliched speech for the campaign trail. I mean this from the bottom of my heart because it is true and I have benefited from it and I can prove it.   Nigeria ought to change her educational model. Our educational system is still by and large a colonial model where the occupying colonial power merely trained a select few natives for the purpose of having clerks and translators to run their exploitative government. Graphic photos : Ghastly auto accident in Abuja leaves passengers terribly injured  A ghastly motor accident occurred early this morning in Abuja, leaving passengers bloodied. The passengers had reportedly been travelling from Minna, Niger state to Abuja when the sad incident occurred. Thankfully, no one was reported dead in the accident. There was drama at an Ikeja High Court today after a witness who was scheduled to testify in a Land dispute case, suddenly slumped, started vomiting and then died within the court premises. A 74 year-old medical doctor simply identified as Dr. Mbakwe reportedly shot himself with a gun at his home in Aba, Abia State. According to reports, frustration might have led him to carry out the act as he had been bedridden with an undisclosed illness that has spanned over 30 years. Members of dreaded criminal group, Baddoo reportedly killed an entire family in the early hours of Wednesday, May 10th in Isiwu Town, Ikorodu area of Lagos. A man allegedly killed his son and beheaded him for money ritual. The post shared by one Taskar Gizago is written in Hausa. However, from what we could get after translating it, the man had earlier reported the son missing to the police which prompted a search.
