The Supreme Court has declared Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Justice David Oladimeji of the Federal High Court in Ede, Osun State has ordered the former Vice Chancellor of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Anthony Elujoba, be remanded in Ilesha Prisons after his bail application was dismissed Tuesday morning. Oladimeji is currently standing trial on a seven count charge for allegedly defrauding the institution of N1.4 billion while he was in office. A 21-year-old student of the Federal College of Education in Plateau, Nenfort Ezekiel, was found dead in her room on Monday by curious neighbours trying to find out if she was okay, after she wasn't spotted out for classes as usual. A 27-year-old Nigerian man has sentenced to two years in jail in the United States for bilking East Texans and others out of nearly $1 million. A naked man was caught on tape fighting a police officer while residents gathered round to cheer him on. According to reports, the incident happened in Ikorodu, Lagos. In the 1 minute video, the naked man can be seen walking up to a police officer and goading him to fight. A 14-year-old girl from Lubbock, Texas has died after getting electrocuted while using her cellphone in a bathtub. Madison Coe was taking a bath at her father's home in Lovington, New Mexico  on Sunday morning when she got electrocuted. Once again, London is in the news and its another fire incident but no life is reported lost at this time. According to the London Fire Brigade, 'Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in Camden Lock Market at just before  midnight   on Sunday  evening. The first, second and third floors, plus the roof, of a building within the market had caught fire and damaged by the blaze.
