Affecting his life: The hernia pushed down into the man's scrotum and was operated on by medics


A giant hernia larger than a football has been removed from a man's scrotum after 12 years.

The huge mass was so large it hung half way down the the 65-year-old's thigh and caused him problems walking, urinating and having sex.CT scans showed the ‘giant inguinoscrotal hernia’ formed after the man's bowel pushed though muscle in his pelvic area and caused his testicle to swell
