PDP reacts to arrest of former Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido,says "Our Democracy Is Nose-diving"

Sunday, the Kano state Police command arrested a former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido, for allegedly inciting some of his supporters to plan towards disrupting the conduct of July 1st local government elections being organised by the incumbent Jigawa state governor, Muhammad Badaru(Read here).

In a statement released Monday evening, PDP says the arrest of the former governor is an indication that our democracy has nosedived. Read the statement below

Female Corpers Rap*d By Armed Men In Police Uniform Those guys should be ashamed of themselves! Seven corps members returning from the recent holidays were among 16 passengers attacked by robbers at a spot on Kaduna-Abuja highway on Sunday. The females among the corps members serving in Enugu and Ebonyi states were reportedly rap*d by the bad guys who blocked the highway and stopped vehicles with impunity.
